So you would like to rent a tuxedo?  There are very few people that actually purchase a tuxedo. It is much cheaper to rent a tuxedo.  After all, how many times do you get invited out to a black-tie event? Prom night has arrived. This is definitely a suitable time to rent your tux.

To rent a tuxedo, you should first figure out what type of affair you are attending because not all formal events are created equal.  You will find in addition to the prom, most occasions fall into the following categories:  Black Tie Optional, Black Tie Preferred, Black Tie, or White Tie.

When you rent a tuxedo and attend a formalwear event, if the event does not specifically indicate what type of dress is appropriate, you can just assume that it is included in the Black Tie Preferred category. Formalwear has never looked better and gets better every year!
